Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ughula is a lot like Rheikanio, for she is very shy and hides in any nearby cave. Unlike him, however, she will very rarely fight any body. Though she is a pacifist dragon, she will use her natural instincts to scare off any foes with her frills. Though she is introverted, Ughula will often help Ara-mazona with gardening, and she also doubles as a forager. She enjoys various sweet plants. She is always trying to help the group despite her shyness. If she isn't doing her typical job in the fields of agriculture and foraging, Ughula is looking after and guarding the hatchlings to make sure no one hurts them. With her fearsome appearance, she is quite adept at this extra job. She likes to partake in the jobs of the group to overcome her shyness. Also, she has been very good friends with Rheikanio since the very day they were hatched. She's able to understand Rheikanio's somewhat strange communication, and he helps her with her various jobs, if he can. They are quite the duo.
