Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Saphire Bird is the guardian of the sky. She is able to drift gracefully up and down on the heated air. She is one of the dragons that ignore the Eagle of Time tribe. The reason being is the fact she is always a loner and claims she is a rouge even though facts of birth prove she is in fact one of them. She acts like she has no power at all just a kite in the sky. Even those who know her deeply knows that she has some power, not much. She is a total go with the flow kind of person. She has no will to live or to be free. She says to everyone who is willing to fly high up and speak with her. She is a scout for everyone both good and bad. She also claims she is neutral and should not be bothered. She is very fast and can use her wings to swipe down harshly leaving markings in another dragons wing.
