Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. This hatchling is hard to see, but in the sunlight it displays brilliant colors.

And look! Its wings have grown large enough that it can now fly. It hardly ever leaves the air now.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Bright was frozen less than an hour before he was going to die. He is very playful and sweet, but has a great sense of humor. Bright is unlike most dragons. He does not eat the raw meat hunted by other dragons, like Sokki, but is not really a herbivore either, thoough he still eats leaves. He goes to Amphoros to get his raw meat cooked by Amphoros' fire, because he is one of the only dragons in their cave that knows how to blow fire. Bright was told that he is the herds sign of good luck. The entire herd loves having Bright around! He is so sweet and funny!
