Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Crimson Echo is one of the Dragons loyal to the Dark Noble, RavenRyy. While she loves her father dearly, Echo loves her freedom more. Not very clever, but with a strong sense of fairness (and a huge playful streak), Echo is a perfect sparing partner for her big sister Night Skar. Her kind nature disappears when she is confronted with a threat to her or her kith and kin. She tears into adventures and assassins with an unequaled fury.

She had a brief fling with Spider Root, but now avoids him. She won't talk about what happened, except to RavenRyy and Earth Forge. Her father banned Spider Root from all family events, not that the sinister Deep Green cares. Earth Forge has bonded well with Echo, and normally has her help with the cooking (Fire breath and that).

Crimson Echo enjoys physical games (and giving rides to young children), and has a strong love of most curries. She loves the taste of milk as well.
