Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Like other Whiptails, Speed Stripe is incredibly fast on his feet, and his maximum flying speed is just as stunning. He is also one of the few dragons to actually speak to Brendan through telepathy, as the rest prefer to communicate through other means. Personality-wise, he is very flirtatious and is witty with the tongue, but with the females currently under Brendan's care, he isn't having much luck. He has made it a personal challenge to try and seduce Shadow Cloud, the coldest and most antisocial of the dragons, although we probably won't see him succeed any time soon.
