Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Like his name, Strawberry is extremely sweet. He cares deeply for other dragons (especially his Mint mother) and seeks to protect those who can't protect themselves. He carries a deep admiration for his father, Paradise, whose rough, domineering attitude inspires Strawberry to be more confident and outspoken. Of course, there is the issue that Strawberry can be a bit too gullible for his own good and may put way too much faith in his boisterous father. Strawberry is not a very intelligent dragon. He holds his father up on a pedestal and relies on him as a beacon of morality, never realizing that he is one of the most obnoxious dragons in their community. Still, Strawberry himself is undeniably wonderful and full of spirit. In spite of his faults, he still aspires to be a better dragon each day and make his father proud. At the very least, Strawberry is non-violent. He rarely resorts to fighting, only saving that for dire circumstances. This is probably because he's quite weak, though.
