Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

A long time ago, there was a sacred code called the Terms of Service, or TOS, set down by the god TJ09. Anyone who does not read and follow the TOS is pelted with moldy cheese.
This poor cheese dragon knows the punishment all too well. He's a shy fellow who never breaks any rules, but Meerkat has thrown him many a time at the more unscrupulous fellows skulking around her home. He is fragile, and prone to catching the dreaded mold disease, but even when he is not covered in fuzzy splotches of blue and green, he is Meerkat's primary weapon against those who do not follow the sacred code.
