Perhaps not. It seems to be active during the night.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This hatchling was forced out of its egg prematurely.

Candy is a young vampire dragon. Her coven had a fondness for Candy after she hatched. She is a playful little vampire and enjoys taunting small animals and young dragons. She will never change other eggs as she did not reach adult age, and is happy about that. She will help other young dragons who have been turned learn how to hunt and stay in the shadows, as well as be a good playmate.
