Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Black Knight is a quiet soul. He almost never talks except to his mother and sister. Most of the dragons shy away from him because of his personality and because his is a mighty warrior. The only person whom he loves is is his dear mate Sariali. If she were to die he would hunt down the killer and murder them with his bare claws. His special features are quite clear he has a missing eye, clawed out by a warrior from another clan when they fought over a deer to eat. Right now Black Knight lives with his mate in a large glass cave given to them by Saphirre Light when he saved her life. Sariali and him have managed to raise all the hatchlings to adulthood and are thinking of having another egg.
