Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Draetrea, which means Everlasting Luster, is the most beautiful female in the Everlasting. She is very kind, and even though all of the males gaze at her longingly, she never abuses her popularity. She helps out with any hatchlings and eggs, treating all as if they were her own. Some of the males with life-mates consider having an affair, but their mates sense that and quickly put an end to that plan. Draetrea is woken by Draenit, the mint of the Everlasting, when there is a fight between the males outside the cave. She seems to have a power no other dragon in the clan has, but nobody yet knows what it is. She is lifemates with Draetea, the healer. She's lately begun to fall into depression for some odd reason...
