Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The elder's couple of this cave found the abandoned egg and kept it as their own. When it opened, all the cave cried on it. The muses sang a sad poetry, the natural envoies set flowers on the body and the elemental's dragon made the sky an uproar of tears and thunders. Itarius the Inspirer joined all his sons' and daughters' healing powers to recall the hatchling's life back. The following night they found out the legends about vampire dragons were true; but the strange magic fusion of all their powers and emotions changed the baby's nature, allowing him to live free from his dragon's bloodlust. A minor legend risen up from the elder's memory, about a rare vampire who disowns his nature becoming a vampire hunter: a dampyr. The mojo over his nature couldn't allow him to eat normally, but the animals' blood was good enough for his hunger, and the vampire's one make him stronger.
