As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Mayeuatzin is a Night Glory drake. Quiet and shy, he is one of the quietest members of the family. He has successfully mastered the fine art of inconspicuousness, or thinks he has, and does his best to ensure that other dragons don't notice him. He is fairly good at this, mostly because the larger part of his family sleeps during the night, which is when he starts his "day". The other nocturnal dragons are mostly loners who have their own hunting grounds, which should have suited him quite well. Unfortunately, his beautiful copper and blue scales, handsome features and fine hunting skills have made him very popular with female dragons, many of whom don't mind staying up at night to have a shot at flirting with him. As a result, despite his desire for loneliness, he is often trailed by a group of (mostly) young females who are impossible to shake off.
