Copper Dragons are masters of stealth, slipping silently and swiftly through the forests and jungles where they live. Often hunting in groups, their prey rarely know they are being stalked until the dragon’s at their throat. In the air they are agile and skilled. Copper Dragons prize family groups, spending large amounts of time teaching their young skills. So great is their love of life and family that they will sometimes adopt orphaned dragons of other breeds to raise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

An eccentric and lovable male, this Copper set out many months ago to find the perfect place to raise a family--and, by Jove, he's found it. A forsaken old temple in the desert, far away from any would-be predators, but located close enough to a nearby oasis to ensure a steady supply of prey. Ah, yes, the perfect home for a family... if only his mate could find it too, that is! Now that he's found the place, he's quite baffled about how his mate is going to find him there, but at the same time is none too fond of the idea of leaving the place undefended while he goes to collect her. After all, someone else might take it! But, then again, he did choose it specifically because he didn't think it would be in danger of being found to begin with...

Quite conflicted about the whole thing, he spends much of his time scratching sad frowning faces into the temple walls. Thankfully his wife is a fair bit wiser than he is, and is already on her way towards him, using magic to find her way.
