Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

SkySerpentine was the first Skywing dragon raised in the Shadows herds. The Shadows dragon raisers were very interested in the egg with the strange markings that was stolen from the caves and were surprised to find that SkySerpentine was born with wings unlike any other dragon that they had raised. They named him Sky because they always saw him in the sky during the day and only saw him on the ground at nights when he slept in the dragon stables. His last name, Serpentine, is the name of his herd, the Shadows Serpentine herd.<br/>The other dragons have come to depend on him as one of the dragons that is always constantly on the lookout for the rest of his herd while in the air. Most of the other dragons are not as agile or fast in the air as him, nor do they have his stamina in the air, so this role is rather suitable for him.
