Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very light and enjoys bouncing all around.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Members of Mephiles' Dragon Clan are very close with other dragons in the clan and don't trust anyone outside of it unless Mephiles does. If attacked they will defend as one and when they attack they also attack as one. Bouncing Bean acts as a sentry of sorts, floating in the air watching the territory and reporting to Mephiles if he sees anything out of the ordinary. He likes to have  "who can stay in the air the longest" contests with Baby Double Dare.
