Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Over the centuries, the storms that sweep her world are becoming more and more violent. Many are beginning to fear that the end of their world is coming due to the fierce nature of these massive tempests. To stabilize the weather and prevent disaster, several Storm Dragons formed what is known as the Great Weather Manipulation Project (GWMP). Udvia approached GWMP herself when she realized what was happening in the weather patterns. Truthfully, Udvia has thought something was wrong for a long time. She just had no idea what to do about it. When Udvia's Cave Leader asked for volunteers to join GWMP, Udvia was ecstatic. Finally, someone was doing something to help what she saw was a major problem! Even more exciting, she would get to be a part of it!
