White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gael started out as a sickly child in one of the small villages, so it is of no surprise that he became a doctor. He enjoys the seemingly simple tasks of gathering herbs and grinding crystals for potent concoctions as well as reading up on the latest medical breakthroughs. His life changed when he was assaulted by bandits in a local wood. Just before they dealt the final blow, he was saved by a great force, a strong guardian, and to his wonder, the lady who owned the lands he lived in. She took him into her manor for recuperation, and the two struck an interesting relationship as the time passed. Before long, he became lord of the land he was born in and continues to administer cures to the people. When he is not out helping the sick or his lady's wounds, he tends to read a lot and even compose music for the harpsichord.
