Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tol doesn't remember how she came to the Lonley Isle across the great ocean, but she's been there for many years.  She lives in the deepest cave on the island along with the rest of her clan.  It's Tol's responsibility to help clear out new tunnels, moving and tossing the biggest of boulders out and down the hillside to the ocean, to help make more room for the expanding clan.  And when outsiders try to intrude on the island she along with the others can make the earth shake scaring away the uninvited.  Tol's very happy with her life on the island.
