Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Soreru is not like other dragons of her kind. While many of her species care only for battle and violence Soreru has often gone against her nature to pursue a gentler path. She will still fight, but only if she must. When faced with an enemy Soreru will always strive to dissolve the conflict with diplomacy. If, and only if, she is unable to peacefully disuade her enemy from violence will she engage in any kind of warfare.

Her closest friends know that she is a loyal and trustworthy companion who will gladly risk her life to protect those she cares about. However, if a fight can be avoided, and life spared, she will always take the path of least resistance. This is not her nature, but her choice. She is a peaceful warrior.
