When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Aquapalon is a kindly-tempered water dragon, husband of Sailmonus, and a positive presence throughout his home, Tsalemar Lake. He is naturally charming, and makes friends with almost anyone he speaks to. He enjoys society and conversation, and will often be seen speaking to a land dragon on the shores of the lake. He avoids the political center of Tsalemar, a massive underwater fortification where smiles are met with glares and serious business holds complete sway, instead preferring the lighter edges of the lake, where sunshine filters through the water, heating it pleasantly. He spends most of his time there, dodging work, preferring to play or chat with other dragons.

Aquapalon skirts responsibility whenever possible. His magic is weak, and he is a poor fighter, and unable to take on many tasks. He avoids doing things he doesn't want to, and while this blots him in the eyes of the lake's leadership, he is still a friendly and well-known figure amongst the water dragons of the cave.
