Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Taibhsear usually sits on top of the mountain above the labyrinth of caverns and tunnels that is her clan's home. She is staring dreamily at the horizon, a pensive frown on her brow. Ever since she was a hatchling, Taibhsear has been having visions of events of the past and future. They often stay vague and unclear, as if she's looking through a screen of thick smoke, but sometimes every little detail is imprinted on her mind. With her second sight, she has often been able to foretell disaster or happiness for her family, but still she is often sad about the visions she cannot explain, fearing they contain important information. Her siblings assure her that even if you know the future, you may not be able to change your destiny, and that she should accept the limits of her gift and stop worrying. This often reassures the young clairvoyant, and she lets her might wander to more pleasant present-day sights, such as playful young hatchlings and the love of a close-knit family.
