Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

With her shining silver scales Maebh is a stunning spectacle wherever she goes. Males turn their head as the image of her slender body winding through the air is burned into their memory. She is well aware of this and has often used it to her advantage, to gain some fresh venison or to get the most comfortable nest. But with all these males doing nothing but praising her, luring her with gifts, and sweet talking her non-stop, Maebh often felt unsure and lonely. She felt no one ever really looked beyond her shining scales and found her true self hidden underneath.

That is, until the shy Guardian called Mabach found his way into the O'Sheane territory. Although he seemed nothing but insecure and stuttering at first, she soon discovered his calmness and lovingness and his direct way of expressing himself to the point of being rude. Although others called him socially clumsy and laughed at his stuttering, Maebh began to love him deeply for the honesty with which he treated her.
