When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Seda Aquatica was the mate of the magi, Shaah Harkaara, before he cruelly left her to be with a purple dorsal dragon. When he left her, her heart broke, and her world was shattered. Even now, she loves him, though he betrayed her love. It is said that the Ardrean seas were formed from her tears, and the monsters within them were formed from the shadows of her sorrow. Now she is little more than a shadow of her former self. Where her scales gleamed like blue rays of sunlight through the sea, they are dull and lusterless. Where her eyes gleamed with laughter and love, now they are dull with tears. Of late, though, her heart as begun to be lifted by the love another dragon, Antariksh Vaayu, who has always stayed beside her as her friend. Now, he is her mate, and promises to never leave her. Once more, Seda Aquatica has begun to smile.
