Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Iceglow is Shoroneko's very first dragon. He is very calm and patient, and shares a very special bond with her. Since he's the eldest of all of her dragons, he acts as a big brother for them. At night, he watches over the whole group and keep the most rebellious of them tame.

His egg was found in the desert, where Shoroneko started her journey in search of dragon eggs. Iceglow's egg was here, the moonlight making the sand around it look like silver dust. Carefully, Shoroneko, with her heart beating like a drum, slowly grabbed the egg and carefully walked away with it.

With this egg being the first success of her dragon collection, Shoroneko felt like she could accomplish anything and started to gather even more eggs so that the future baby dragon would have a lot of company. Once he came out of his shell, the young trainer immediately thought of a glacier shining under the moonlight and called him Iceglow.

A few months after, Iceglow met the young Hopelia, who quickly became his mate.
