Coral Pygmy Wyverns are coastline vagrants, dominant in their ecosystems. They spend most of their time swimming around shallow coral atolls, snacking on the creatures that make their homes there. Don’t be fooled by their small size—these tiny dragons pack a ferocious punch; they can be painful to sharks, dragons, and other substantially larger predators. They are, unsurprisingly, difficult to integrate into human society.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

User Description

Smallcoral is in charge of security around the Weyr of Small Spaces. A strong, mighty figure, tough but fair: that's how she sees herself, and she struts amongst her Clanmates assured of herself as the biggest, scrappiest, and burliest of the Coral Pygmy Wyverns, or any of her other Weyrmates.

Her actual demeanor is...a bit lacking, in reality. Her teeth are sort of soft, really, and she can't lift anybody her own size. But far be it from anyone to tell Smallcoral that her horns aren't actually that sharp, or that when she jams them into her friends' sides, they're exaggerating how much it hurts. To placate her, in a way, but also as a form of affection. She just takes herself so seriously. It's difficult not to get swept along by her confidence and start nodding along patiently.

Her sense of justice does match up to her opinion of herself, at least, so she makes a good keeper of the peace. She's a softie at heart, so no one minds playing that she's very tough indeed. There's no harm.
