Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Chrusaide is a very easily tempered dragon, like most Hellfire Wyverns. For this reason, she mostly lives by herself. Sometimes she visits the other female Hellfires, chatting and hunting with them for a few days and then returning to her nest. Chrusaide has never seen a male dragon of her species in her long life, learning from her mother that its best to stay away from them. She longs to meet one though, and actually plans on doing so. She's just not sure when.

Chrusaide mostly hunts at night, finding deer and other small animals along the way. Sometimes she prefers plants off trees that are not found often. Not only does she hunt at night, but she also has an obsession with stars. There's a large cliff near her den, nicknamed Tallrock. She sits upon the edge of this cliff and often dazes at the majestic beauty that fills the sky. Chrusaide spits blue flames into the sky sometimes to pretend she's making her own stars.
