It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Atom Heart is a sweet, naive dragon who lives in a world of her own. Generally uninterested in the usual dragonish pursuits of flying or finding a mate, she loves only one thing in life: music. She adores singing and spends hours composing new songs and complex, repetitive patterns of notes in her head. In spending so much time with her beloved music, Atom Heart tends to forget about the more mundane things in life, such as eating or sleeping, and as a consequence is often found wandering about in a trance-like state. Sometimes, at early sunset, one just might hear the ethereal sound of Atom Heart's song echoing over the lake, a sound so beautiful that the shy Callinectes has been known to join in, and even the ferocious Toxicodendron stilled her rage to listen.
