Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Yuna is the queen of the roost, hands down. While she may be small, she's incredibly intimidating, and rarely gets into fights because of that fact. She's mostly all bark, no bite. The one time Yuna did get into a fight, however, it was with a large Black Marrow Dragon. Yuna lost most of the function in her left wing due to a bone-crushing bite from that same Black Marrow Dragon. Having the respect of her entire group for standing her ground, Yuna retreated to safety. There she was treated for her broken wing by a White Dragon, by the name of Angelica Kisami. Angelica was shocked that Yuna had gotten away with her life, let alone had the energy to flee as far as she had from her attacker. Once healed, Yuna's wing never regained full functionality, and as such, Yuna tried to stay away from hostile situations, and let the larger dragons deal with it.
