Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gold Claw is a laid back dragon. He loves to fly around practicing, new techniques, reading, and teaching hatchlings flying techniques as well as self defense. He is the fourth strongest in the cave but is the most calm of them all. He is also the dragon who understands the most languages and sometimes is translator when the other dragons meet someone from a foreign land or travel to check on dragons in the wild. While he may be laid back he is also a dragon that should not be made angry as the fury he packs is just as powerful a Sirkon himself. It's hard to believe that at one point he was a very timid and anti social hatchling as he will now serve as a liaison between nations of humans and dragons alike.
