Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Graenett is frequently mistaken for a statue by those who run across her. She only moves when she gets hungry or when someone tries to attack or re-locate her. She is actually broadcasting pheromones, undetectable to any but male stone dragons, in hopes of finding a mate. She knows that if she moves from that spot, the males will have a harder time finding her. Since she, like most stone dragons, is a sedentary sort, she simply stays put until her rumbling belly forces her to find food. Often at times, it comes to her in the form of birds (especially pigeons) seeking to roost. They are unsatisfying fare, but she prefers to move as little as possible, lest she miss a potential mate when he shows up.
