It’s an undead baby dragon, produced by a failed magical spell. It probably would be cute if it weren’t partially decayed.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

As Halloween Night approaches every year, this helpless little hatchling, named Child is Slowly Taken, remembers with horror the violent death she suffered under the hands of her master. She cannot seem to understand why even though she used to be a fun-loving and lively dragon, her master had decided that she was so unimportant that she could be sacrificed. Though she has been petted and stroked by her now loving master since being resurrected, the bitter feeling still resides within her soul, and she shies away and hides within the dark caverns beneath her master's estate until midnight. At midnight, while EG is asleep, she finally will muster up the courage to surface and feast on whatever she can find laying around the estate.
