Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems allergic to something, and every time it sneezes sparks shoot from its nose and mouth.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

"Ahhhhhhhh! I look like Einstein! Haaaaaalp!" a little thunder hatchling can be heard screaming from deep within a cave. Nobody has seen this hatchling ever since it hatched, though they have most certainly heard him. Though nobody knows who or what 'Einstein' is, from his agitated tone, it seems as if this Einstein, and looking like it, is an undesirable thing. However, no matter how much they wish to help this hatchling change his appearance, they can't coax him out—he refuses to be seen unless he does not look like Einstein. What this hatchling doesn't realize, however, is that he can't come out because he looks like Einstein, but if he doesn't come out, he can't change his looks. Thus, the hatchling that looks like Einstein is forever stuck in a paradox maybe even worthy of Einstein himself, whoever he may be. And the only thing his clanmates can do for him is to toss food and water down into the deep cave, so the hatchling can continue his self-exile without ever coming out.
