Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has two tails!

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Ununpentium is a resentful young swallowtail. He's the kind of dragon who would claw a dragon in the bat of an eyelid if they looked at him funny. He does not enjoy other dragon's company and remains in solitude. This dragon loathes the thought of loving and scorns the word friendship. Ununpentium fears storms and the rain, which keeps him inside of his cave most of the time since the clouds in the valley are dreary and gray. He is wretched but powerful, and the other dragons wouldn't want him as an enemy.
