Spotted Greenwings are relatively small nocturnal dragons. Easily recognizable by the fleshy appendages growing off of their head and rump, they are most commonly seen in forests at night, leaping and soaring from tree to tree. While generally social, spotted greenwings are very quiet and rarely make any sort of vocalization. Their bodies are unusually warm to the touch, though they are unable to breathe fire. Greenwings are voracious feeders and will consume nearly any living thing that they can fit in their mouths.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

In the account of Demariks journey through the Vale of Arginare, he wrote of a vindictive and shadowy creature mutely watching him from the shadows his entire passage. This being is known as Fascino, also known as Fire(four) of Syv Fristen Synde(or simply the Syv).

Fascino is a slight being, little more than a few scraps of skin and flesh thinly drawn over hollow bones. But out of the Syv he is the most virulent and enduring. He holds on to grudges like no other and is easily offended. Demarik's very passage past Fascino's home incurred Fascino's wrath. He very nearly killed Demarik in his sleep despite his sickly form.
