Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon... except for the tangle of dangerous-looking vines surrounding it...

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

EmeraldVineDream is a vicious Vine Dragon hatchling. While all Dark Green Dragons are dangerous, EmeraldVineDream is particularly nasty. He either can't or won't talk telepathically, and other dragons aren't sure if he can psychically hear either. EmeraldVineDream usually has his head poking out, so he can glare and growl at any dragon too large for him to kill. He's silent (and usually underground) when any prey animals walk by. He is such a threat that the only reason he hasn't been killed is because his father is a friend of the nearby cave of dragons. Everyone is a bit afraid of EmeraldVineDream.
