Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Due to his parentage, it should come as no surprise that this dragon is sweet and cheery, a playful creature who gets along wonderfully with children and adults alike. In sharp contrast to this is his best friend and mate, Xunre, who constantly feels the need to do great acts to 'prove' her family's nobility. While he finds her behavior baffling (and she thinks the same of his!), the two grew up together and as such are quite used to the supposed quirks of the other; Crozael loves to make jokes based around his wife's pride, which generally end with him getting slapped. Yet despite all this, many say that they have never seen a couple with such pure love for one another.
