Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Dusk-Fire a sunset dragon, always liked to learn things by doing them on his own, but as long as he was around the other dragons there was always someone telling him that he wasn't doing it right, or showing him how to improve something. This always made him feel like a lesser dragon, and he didn't like this feeling. It made him snappy, and short tempered. Knowing that this wasn't really the behavior he wanted to set for himself he decided it would be best to be alone and that way he could do as he pleased when he pleased.
