Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tempo is a very up-beat dragon, often seen humming around the Bright Sky guild hangout, filling the air with his own songs. He is very much of a momma's boy, staying close to home with his family. Tempo loves being friendly and hospitable to other dragons, but he's actually very lonely and has no real friends of his own. He longs to find someone he can confide in, but his parents keep him under wraps, trying to find a suitable mate for him. He doesn't let his loneliness keep him down, though, and loves keeping himself occupied with the guild's activities and singing.
