Floret Wyverns are an elegant breed, named for the flowerlike mane and tail each individual possesses. They project small fields of magic around themselves that calm those in the field’s proximity, for a short while replacing anxiety and anger with peace-of-mind. Florets are strikingly wise; they often share their knowledge of the world with whomever is willing to listen and learn. They are very faithful to those close to them, and are especially devoted to their partners and young. It is said that the lasting friendship of a Floret is one of the highest testaments to one’s true character.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lulling Lavender, unsurprisingly characteristic of her kin, possesses an aura of ultimate tranquility, which unwillingly seduces many males within her presence. What is surprising, however, is that none of these mates appealed to her. The one true mate she chose was an enraged Aegis, to which she swore to tranquilize with her power. The Aegis, then named Chaotic Cognitions, was one of the most difficult 'patients' Lavender had to cooperate with. It is unknown as to why she took such a liking to him, but many jealous males speculate it was due to the challenge of soothing him, which was contrary to the normalcy of an immediate, effortless, and thus boring seduction. Once Chaotic Cognitions had realized how much the Floret had appreciated him despite his imperfections, he achieved something no one thought he could—pacification. Since then, he has been newly named "Quelled Chaos", and Lulling Lavender has been regarded a hero. Jealous males can do nothing but begrudgingly respect her.
