Floret Wyverns are an elegant breed, named for the flowerlike mane and tail each individual possesses. They project small fields of magic around themselves that calm those in the field’s proximity, for a short while replacing anxiety and anger with peace-of-mind. Florets are strikingly wise; they often share their knowledge of the world with whomever is willing to listen and learn. They are very faithful to those close to them, and are especially devoted to their partners and young. It is said that the lasting friendship of a Floret is one of the highest testaments to one’s true character.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kinuhana is known for her good sense of smell, which she uses to help local wineries. In particular, she assists with judging various wines for sale to dragons, since human senses are inherently different from a dragon's sensitivities. Over the years she's traveled to many different vineyards and esoteric wine cellars, giving her opinions on different wines and being paid for her advice in exceptional vintages. It makes her rather pleased to know that while her treasure hoard may be unusual, it's no lesser in worth than gold and gems, and will only increase in value with time.
