Deep Sea Dragons, as their name suggests, spend most of their time in the darkest depths of the sea. They have a bioluminescent dorsal spine that serves to attract prey and communicate with their own kind. As with many deep sea animals, they generally eat whatever they can manage to bait. They rarely leave the ocean floor, surfacing only during breeding season. When they do choose to travel to the shallower depths, they avoid bright lights and will only come up far away from shore.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Despite being born in the bitter depths of the sea, Drowned is very lovable and warm. He is the co-leader to Tamer, as well as her mate. He is seen giving advice to her in times of war, often pitching in a more lovable side to her prickly choices. He does not believe in war and always tries to find a peaceful side to things.

He met Tamer and Stone when he was just a hatchling. Fishermen caught him with a large net. The humans shoved him in a cage and shipped him to the black market. Once there, he saw that there were more hatchlings stacked up in cages. His cage was shoved between a Magi and a Nocturne, who would eventually be known as Tamer and Stone. Together they tried to survive on the scraps that the humans threw at them. Day after day they saw hatchlings either die of sickness or starvation. He hated seeing those dragons dead, and swore not to kill from then on. One glorious day, the Overseer came to save them. Even now, the bond that has formed between the three is still strong.
