White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aoida is named after the Greek muse of music. Her master realized her artistic character when Aoida was just a hatchling and spent hours and hours sitting alone in the green light of the forest, singing. Each time she laid there on her favorite moss-covered rock and invented melodies praising nature, there was a slight golden and silver shimmer coming from the trees and the earth surrounding her, dancing. This was quite a problem for her playfellows Erebya and Volturnos and Taernyn, because when they tried to reach Aoida to engage her in a game, they found themselves in two completely different worlds and couldn't reach Aoida's attention.

Today, she spends most of her time with her daughter Hermia lying in the sun, singing and following the cries for help of all wounded dragons.
