Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. You find it odd that the hatchling doesn’t move at all during the day, but at night its colors change and it is full of energy.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

Tarq is a gargoyle on the west of Crier Mansion, which doubles as a cap on Hell's Gate Crier.  With his fellow gargoyles, Tarq guards the Hell's Gate and the mansion itself at night.  His post on the west side means that his night starts later and ends later than some other Crier gargoyles, and he enjoys making mischief for the ones who have to scramble to get back to their posts before the sun rises and they freeze in place.  He is one of the many gargoyles who enjoy freezing in a comical position, rather than the one he was originally carved in, but Tarq does not go overboard--He does not often change his pose, and when he does, the differences are very subtle.

Tarq has the distinction of being one of the more reasonable mischief-maker gargoyles in Crier, and he was the first of the western gargoyles to reveal himself to Baroness Widow Crier when she inherited the Mansion.
