Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

As a hatchling, Agamid was captured by a group of dragon poachers who also killed Agamid's mother when she tried to protect him. The dragon poachers transported Agamid away from the southeastern islands that had once been his home, and later sold him to a traveling circus, who made the little frilled dragon a star attraction in their sideshow. Upon reaching adulthood, however, Agamid managed to break free from his cage, and after slaying most of the humans who had kept him prisoner, he flew off to return to the wild. In time, he encountered Shield Tail and Dark Drakon's herd, and eventually became a part of it. While he is fairly content with his new life, Agamid has never forgotten how he had been treated by the humans as a hatchling, and harbors a deep-rooted mistrust for their race as a whole.
