Brute Dragons are among the larger dragon breeds. They prefer to live in solitude or small groups, nesting in high, mountainous regions. The only time they openly seek the company of others is during the mating season, when males will fight for the attention of females. The thunderous crash of Brute Dragons butting horns against each other in competition for mates can be heard nearly a mile away.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon is well-known for his courteous, although extremely eccentric, nature. He presides over a small mountainside located in the north of his clan's territory, and lives out his life there quietly without much interaction with the rest of his clan. To the other dragons, he is considered a helpful host for lost creatures and visitors. Although he does not like to disrupt his solitary lifestyle, he will offer them shelter for the night and perhaps even a meal on the condition that they leave immediately the next morning. Oddly enough, he only serves them vegetarian dishes, despite being a carnivore himself. On a related note, if anyone attempts to hunt within his territory, he will swiftly stop them before issuing a polite reminder: "do not animals". While it isn't very hard to figure out what the oddly worded phrase means, many dragons wonder why such a rule exists within the territory of a dedicated meat-eater. Perhaps he is merely trying to save the prey for himself.
