Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Fire Numb longs to be the most powerful pyromancer in the world of Shyrn. He has melted diamonds, simply by the power of the link that his mind shares with fire. Although, he is still far from the most powerful pyromancer, he does not give up. In his search for eternal power, he met a magma dragon. Magma is not the same thing as fire, but it is as close as it gets. Inspired by her bond with the element, Fire Numb asked the be the apprentice of an all-powerful dragon. Magma Beserker, the magma dragon, agreed warning Fire Numb that her and his power alike was limited, only a small portion borrowed from that of the gods. Fire Numb learned much more than he new he could about not only fire, but life itself in the company of the magma dragon. He grew fond of her, he felt a feeling that was unknown to him. He fell in love. And now, life itself is not worth living without Beserker.
