Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This hatchling loves making friends and invites all he meets to join his club. He then shows them his secret greeting, involving both of his foreclaws, his right wing, his left hindclaw, and his tail. For creatures that do not have all these appendages, he has them make do with what they can manage.

His friends humor him but do not use the secret greeting with anyone else, even each other, because they think it is "dorky". Secretly they all find it fun, though, and love being Seekritshayk's friend.
