Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

He is the son of Kiyomi and Kentaro. His mother decided to name him Minoru, meaning "Truth" in Japanese, since she wanted him to grow up to be an honest and good boy. He hasn't disappointed his mother, and is a model citizen. He is very kind hearted and loving, although he can get quite competitive with his friends. He is one of the fastest runners in the colony, and he is often asked to deliver messages for the other dragons (he doesn't mind since it gives him the opportunity to run). He met Shizuka while he was running through the forest, and was so distracted that he ran into a tree. After she stopped laughing she took care of his wound, then walked him back to his parents. Even though he was embarrassed, he asked her out. They were soon courting, and then mated. Now the only thing he loves more than running, is running with his mate beside him.
