Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Fluoritsiet LateSleep (after the gemstone: Fluorite) was adopted into the clan cave as its 158th member, bringing a slightly new element to the generally held concepts of spring into the Mystal Clan. Unlike others of his kind, he is a rather laid back, heavy-eyed, sleepy carrot who spends much of his time behind closed lids. When not slumbering, he can usually be found devouring his latest catch or gorging on an enormous mountain of greens and fruits. Early on in his development, this cycle of behavior was cause for great concern for The Clan Mother, who had become familiar with the bright, lively and energetic personalities of his brethren. The clan elders put her concerns to rest with the example that most new life sleeps, and eats, more than anything else. Satisfied with the realization of this truth, she quickly set her fears aside, appreciating him all the more and has taken to making him a variety of baked goods, small delicacies that have become his favorite morsels, by far!
