Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

One day, the founder of the Thalmorian-Clan entered the main camp with an egg. While that was not unusual—the human frequently returned with new eggs, after all—this egg was special. It wasn't an unknown breed of dragon, nor an exceptionally rare breed... but it had been a gift given to her, and gifts are always something special. Some time passed and, after caring for the egg lovingly, Effervescent Guardian hatched. As a Guardian of Change, his name couldn't have fit him more. He's a lively, cheerful and enthusiastic being, constantly exploring the world around him in search of new adventures and experiences. His laughter always seems to infect even the grumpiest dragons around him with high spirits. However, his unpredictable side gets him into a lot of trouble. He never thinks before he acts, even if it's obvious that what he's about to do is dangerous. He enjoys the adrenaline rush taking risks gives him... just as much as he enjoys giving his special scales to those he likes.
